Houston / Global Voice
What I work on
Voice systems that have to work.
- Global SIP trunking infrastructure
- DID coverage across 150+ countries
- Voice routing optimized for reliability and answer rate
- Telecom systems for businesses scaling international calling
Thinking
Short signals.
Not essays. Field notes from voice infrastructure.
01Routing quality impacts revenue more than pricing.
02Most outbound failures are telecom problems, not dialer problems.
03Phone numbers are part of the marketing stack.
04Answer rate is an infrastructure metric.
05Global voice still comes down to local carrier behavior.
06The best backup route is tested before traffic moves.
07A SIP trunk should be boring when it works and obvious when it fails.
Background
Godson came up through the dial-up era, early hacker communities, and the kind of internet where you learned by breaking and rebuilding things. He built Lintel in IT consulting and product engineering, and now focuses that systems instinct on telecom infrastructure through A1ROUTES.
Radio / communication
Radio makes signal tangible: propagation, noise, timing, and discipline. That same mindset shows up in voice routing: respect the path, measure the loss, keep the channel clear.
